Lekan Otufodunrin 52, is a journalist and media career development specialist. He holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Mass Communications from the University of Lagos and a Certificate in Advanced Digital Writing from the School of Communication, Pan Atlantic University.
Otufodunrin, with many years of experience has worked with various media organization including Punch Newspapers where he worked as Group News Editor and Group Political Editor. He is an adjunct lecturer in the department of Mass Communication, University of Lagos. He was former Sunday Editor at The Nation and currently, the Managing Editor Online and special publications of The Nation Newspapers.
Award winning Lekan Otufodunrin, is a member of the Nigerian Guild of Editors and Nigerian Union of Journalists. He is a fellow of Thomson Foundation (Media Training Centre), UK and Poynter Institute (School for Journalists), United States.
Otufodunrin, is the founder of Media Career development service, a media training and research organization committed to harnessing opportunities for media professionals in Nigeria. He is also President of Journalists for Christ, Governing Board member of Journalists Against AIDS (JAAIDS) and member of the World Association for Christian Communication, Canada.
Over the years Lekan Otufodunrin has authored several books. His publications include : Purpose Driven Journalism, Excelling in Journalism, A Reporter Extraordinary, Wisdom for Journalists, Journalism of My life, Becoming the Journalist you Ought to be and New age 'journalism'.
